Happy Birthday Monica!

I've always looked up to my big sister, Monica. I wanted to be just like her (still do). Even though we are six years apart, I always fancied we could be twins.

She was tall. I was tall.

She had long beautiful hair. So I grew mine long too.

Even after she was married and moved out, she'd indulge me by wearing matching outfits (we had at least three matching church outfits for when she visited).

Maybe I inspired her to adopt a few of her own sets of twins?

Madison, Monica, Jim (holding Taylor and Kennedy) and Maci

Monica taught me all of the "important" things in life:

She taught me how to shave my legs without slicing an artery (she even bought me my first fancy razor and shaving cream for my 12th birthday).

She taught me how to curl my bangs up high to heaven.

She taught me how to dress cool.

Monica on the right. Yes, it was in 2002. NOT 1982.

She's not heavy, she's my sister!

I love you Monka! Happy Birthday!!!!

Sorry....I don't have a lot of embarrassing photos to post for her husband, Jim's birthday: it was yesterday. Happy Birthday Jim!!!

Happy Birthday Weston! (AKA Westy, Weston Worth, Westy Bear)

Weston is the baby of the family and I can't believe he is now 17!

I tried to snag pictures from his MySpace account, but I'll have to resort to using the ones in my possession.

Colton, Aubrey, Weston March 1997

When Weston was in preschool he was voted "Mr. Hollywood" and "Mr. Handsome" by the staff. All the girls loved him (they still do!). He even got asked to Centennial High School's Homecoming Dance-----when he was still in elementary school at Oasis!

I don't know what kind of loser pays an 8 year-old to be her Homecoming date

I heard it only cost ten bucks and dinner at The Olive Garden before the dance.

Needless to say, all the other girls kept cutting in to dance with such a handsome gentleman.

(Warning: Adult content below)

It's been just over two years since The Incident. And by "incident", I mean the time when Weston started a forest fire at Scout Camp. He was then trapped in the fire and had to be air lifted to the hospital.

He had burns on most of his body :(

In case you are wondering, he is fully healed and back to "Mr. Handsome" status:

I mention this because I think he's finished paying back the U.S. Forest Service as well as the hospital that chartered the helicopter ride, so he might actually get to keep his birthday money this year!!! Ü

Happy Birthday Miken!!

Just a few of the reasons why we love Miken:
-She has an energetic attitude-
-She is an awesome piano player-
-She has a strong testimony of Jesus Christ-
-She's a great sister, daughter, aunt, friend, and mom!-
And the number one reason why I love Miken?
I'll never forget the day she said,
"Hey, my brother just got off his mission....wanna date him?"

Happy Birthday M&M

Maci & Madison (Aubrey's Sister's Daughters) turn four today!
Seems like only yesterday you were born...

And puked all over my face. Oh well, it was a good excuse to replace that orange shag carpet Ü
