Babymoon!

Nathan and I went on a "Babymoon" to Vegas for one last trip before the Deac arrives. We stayed in a nice hotel off the strip. Our hotel was right behind the Hotel Hooters ---which I didn't even know existed. We did stop by there though, for a $6.99 prime rib dinner....

Nathan's Sister's Husband's Sister (aka Bekah Marx-Mills) was able to score us some tickets to The Blue Man Group-----we LOVED it! I didn't really know what they were all about, so I wasn't properly pumped and prepared...but I was so excited after it began! Deacon was pretty excited too, he was JuMpinG around in my tummy. Probably because it is so loud....when you're sitting FRONT ROW! Thanks again Bekah & Dave.

We went to Madame Toussaud's Wax Museum. Here's a picture of me and my baby's daddy, John Wayne. Up top is a picture of me marrying George Clooney. Nathan got a picture with Joe Montana and the guys from Blue Man Group (the wax figures, not the ones from the actual show). Oh yeah, and another picture of me with my baby's daddy, Michael Jordan. I will use these for my paternity suit to get some money...ha, ha, just kidding.

We were able to have dinner with Matt & Ashley. We went to a murder mystery dinner, it was our first time and lots of fun. Too bad the only picture I got was of that guy dressed as a show girl...wrong, wrong, wrong, he's just not nearly as good looking as the stripper that showed up in my hotel room dressed as a missionary.

We made another stop at the traveling Bodies Exhibit. I was sad they don't allow pictures because it was the most amazing thing. They take cadavers of people who have donated their body to science and display them in the most amazing ways. On one body, all the flesh was removed so you could see all the different muscles and tendons and how they connect and work. On another body you could see the different organs and how they work in tandem. One exhibit showed the different stages of fetal growth, another section showed a pair of conjoined twins. It was sad, because each body you saw, meant someone had died; but it was amazing at the same time. I know I keep saying amazing, but it really was. It really makes you wonder how anyone could think we evolved from monkeys! Everything works together so perfectly---there's NO way it was an accident.

It worked out perfectly that we took our babymoon on the weekend of our 4 year anniversary. We had a great time!
