Nathan walked at Graduation on May 1st. But he technically still has a semester left of school. He will be done June 20th and that's when the real party starts!!
He has been studying hard for his CT boards and this month he passed with flying colors. A year ago he was trying to decide between specializing in Nuc-Med or CT (to do cat scans). He chose the former, but luckily he has performed enough CT exams during his Nuc-Med clinical hours that he was able to petition to take the CT exam and become certified. So he is officially X-Ray and CT certified, and at the end of June he can take his Nuc-Med exams to become certified in that. Then, Arizona...here we come!

Law School Here I Come!
I went to court on the 12th and won my suit in small claims court----law school, here I come! hahaha. I didn't know what to expect. I contemplated watching a marathon of Judge Judy to prepare but it wasn't necessary Ü
I was in front of the judge for *maybe* four minutes. All he cared about was that I had proof that the defendant had been served and that they didn't show up to contest the charges. So he granted me a default judgment. All my hours of collecting phone records, receipts, compiling videotape weren't necessary. Darn. I was kinda of excited to argue my points! It was definitely an interesting experience sitting in the courtroom for an hour before they called my case and observing other cases. Lots of scraggly people showing up for multiple misdemeanors, drug possession, etc. You would think they would dress up when coming before a judge. Nope. Standard attire was baggy shorts, holey t-shirts, and tennis shoes. I was thinking that these must be the dregs of society, but I was wrong. Pretty soon they started bringing in the inmates that were shackled at the hands and feet, wearing prison jumpsuits with full body tattoos and scary hair/hygiene. Those are the real dregs of society. Pretty much every sentence came with jail time, but in each case the jail time was held in abeyance if they paid a fee and took probation! I think I could come up with a couple hundred dollars if it meant staying out of jail for 45 days. Then again, I think some of these people would turn to robbing a convenience store or something to get the money to avoid jail...
Oh, my favorite defendant was this little old lady who totally looked like she didn't belong. In fact, the only crime I would charge her with was indecent exposure for not wearing a bra. I was surprised when she was charged with driving on a suspended license, reckless driving and the prosecutor said something about her pushing a passenger out of her car while it was moving!

Pre-natal Massage and a ManLY-Pedi
So I've pretty much doubled in size since then (at least I feel like I have).
Nathan has been taking great care of me this pregnancy. I was having terrible back pain last month so he made me an appointment for a prenatal massage. I thought it would be a table with a hole in it for my belly. I have been craving...CRAVING...lying down on my stomach. That is how I always sleep and haven't been able to do it for about 6 months. Apparently the hole-in-the-table thing is not good for the back, so they do the massage with a bunch of "pillows" propping me up. And when they say pillows, they mean big awkward blocks of foam. I don't want to give any mental pictures.....but a big, nekkid, pregnant lady trying to balance on a little massage table while trying to keep these blocks from slipping out from under her knees, belly, neck, etc., and keeping the sheet over her....it must have been a sight. TMI?
This month, Nathan gave me a manly-pedi. I call it a manLY-pedi, because he's a man who gave me a pedicure Ü. First he soaked my feet in some warm water with soft soap. Then he took off my old polish and pushed my cuticles back. He filed down my nails and picked a new coat of polish to apply. What a sweetie!
The funniest part was when he was down on the floor doing my feet, he looks to his right and pretends to be gossiping with an imaginary coworker in a foreign language. It was hilarious.
